Nic McLaurie

Manager (awaiting registration with CQC)

Yardley Hastings and Easton Maudit

I have worked within care for the past 13 years, I have worked in a number of settings, including working a care home, domiciliary services, across Northamptonshire. I then became a care co-ordinator before moving into a Branch Manager for domiciliary and supported living. I have a strong passion for working in care and my ethos is ensuring that all of the people that I am supporting have the best quality of life.

I am a mum of 3 teenagers and enjoy spending time with my family. We love sports and are keen supporters of Wellingborough Rugby Club. We also love going on long walks with our dogs.

I am very happy to join Oakfield, as the Manager, I am excited to join you all along your journey, I look forward to the challenges, and exciting opportunities that are coming to Oakfield.

Melissa Schulz

Deputy Manager - Easton Maudit

I have worked and progressed at Oakfield over a period of eighteen years, moving from support worker, to shift leader and finally into my role of Deputy Manager today. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, nieces and nephews.

In my role as Deputy Manager I work alongside the team to provide a safe and caring environment for the people we support. I ensure that all the care and support needs are undertaken in a person-centred way with the people we support’s involvement. I am very passionate to create a positive atmosphere for the people we support here at Oakfield.

Brendan Moylan

Property Manager

With a background in working with children and young adults with special educational needs in educational settings, it has led me to work and support within Oakfield Community across both Easton Maudit’s and Yardley Hastings sites. Involving looking after the buildings and over seeing the current refurbishment project, developing three brand new self-contained flats at Easton Maudit, my role here covers a very wide range of duties. It fills me with great satisfaction and pride that, within my role, I can do my part to make a difference and support in my own way, the progression of Oakfield Community and the people we support.

My career has seen me do a varied number of roles, from warehouse work, to gaining my Primary School Education qualification, teaching for several years in numerous Primary Schools. I have spent a long time working within special education and completed numerous training courses to help me best support the people I have done, which has served me well in being able to not only look after both sites at Oakfield Community, but also give me a deeper understanding of how to best support its wonderful residents. It is a pleasure working here and I am very much looking forward to seeing Oakfield Community develop further in the years to come.

Diane Rhodes

I am a mother of two and a grandmother of two.  Throughout my working career I have always gone above and beyond to ensure that a job is done to my best ability.  Working within the charity sector I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience and have helped many people.  My passion is to help everyone regardless of their age, race, gender or disability to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

Jeanette Webb

Office Manager

Easton Maudit & Yardley Hastings

I have recently taken on the role of Office Manager and I am looking forward to a new challenge assisting with operations across Oakfield Community. My role includes supporting the team with all their administration and finance, whilst working in line with the regulations and policies of Oakfield.

Previously working in a Nursing Home I have experience of a caring environment and hope to help make a positive and happy environment for those we support.

Eve Brittain

Assistant Administrator & Support to Fundraising

As both administration and fundraising assistant it is my job to assist the office manager and the grants co-ordinator with the day to day administration behind the scenes as well as building relationships with our local community.

I have previously worked as a support worker for 8 years in various health and social care settings gaining all kinds of experience and knowledge supporting many unique people with all aspects of their daily life and care.

I decided that this year I would like a change of career and a new challenge which lead me into this new role of administration. Both the team and people we support here at Oakfield Community are an incredible bunch and I’m pleased to be with them on this new start!

Jess Webb

PA to the Managing Director and Trustees of Oakfield.

Within my role as PA it is my job to support the Managing Director and the Trustees with the operational tasks for Oakfield Community. My role is highly varied, from areas of recruitment, to HR and project planning. I also work on Oakfield's marketing strategy, managing the social media accounts and the website for Oakfield. I work with many other members of the team to strive for growth at Oakfield in order to continue creating a caring and positive environment for the people we support.

Having recently completed my degree in English with Business Management, I found a passion for all things business. I am excited to continue learning and get involved with the exciting plans and development for the future of Oakfield Community.

Cath Sampson

Care Farm Manager

I have very recently joined the Oakfield Community Team, based at the Easton Maudit site. My role is to take forward the new Seed-to-Plate Project and re-introduce the Care Farm. I am very excited about both these projects and very much look forward to running person-centred training sessions for the people we support and the wider community, who will hopefully find these rewarding as well as fun.

I have worked in the Adult Social Care sector for over 30 years, covering a range of roles and services, and have enjoyed almost every minute of it. My great love outside work is for anything nature related. I am a self-confessed ‘wildlife nerd’ and am never happier than when outside. I have formal qualifications in conservation management and horticulture but found that during my training, I was also called towards the care sector, hence my career to date. My new role as Care Farm Manager combines the two – what could be more perfect.

Leanne White

I have recently taken on the role of compliance officer at Oakfield community after working as a shift lead since January 2023. I have worked in the care sector for the past 12 years and during this time I have had a variety of different roles, which I believe will help me fulfil my new role. I am passionate about providing person centred care to the people we support and I look forward to working with the staff to continue to evidence the amazing work which is done day in day out here at Oakfield.
